We have been operating in Tanzania for over 8years and during that time have produced nearly 98,900 ounces of gold from our open pit gold mining. We have 2 producing mines, all located in northeast Tanzania including exploration land in neighboring Uganda. High heat, pressure and chemicals are used to remove impurities from the gold. A sample of the gold is used in an assay to measure the purity of the gold content, usually found to be 98.2% pure.
