What does BTON do?

BTON Financial (BTON.ai) is an AI-driven trading technology company building a neutral intelligence layer for institutional equity trading. The platform embeds machine learning-based decision support directly into existing execution and order management systems (EMS/OMS), enabling asset managers and trading desks to optimise broker and algorithm selection within their native workflows without replacing incumbent infrastructure. By analysing large-scale transaction cost and execution data across market participants, BTON dynamically matches each order to the most suitable broker and execution strategy in real time. This transforms traditional broker allocation and “algo wheel” processes into a continuous, data-driven optimisation layer that improves execution quality, reduces trading costs, and enhances best-execution governance. Positioned as cross-platform coordination infrastructure for electronic trading, BTON integrates across fragmented trading technology stacks to bring explainable AI and collaborative intelligence into the trader workflow. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in London, the company serves institutional investors, asset managers, and brokers globally.
