FEKL shall set the standard for managing retail of LPG by deploying dedicated Cylinder Exchange Stations (CES) and a Cylinder Exchange Management & Information System (CEMIS™), this latter being an online 24/7 platform whereby customers can create user accounts, place orders and remit payments for cooking gas via M-PESA PAYBILL or M-PESA push, register any complaints on their cylinders to the company, and most importantly validate a genuine gas cylinder by scanning the cylinder for a validation code using a dedicated scanner on the App. The validation code shall contain, amongst other details, last date of filling, name of the operator who filled the cylinder, and a CES number where the cylinder was issued. CEMIS™ shall enhance customer experience by providing a platform on both Android and PC. Using Geofencing features, a customer shall be able to purchase cooking gas from any location on earth, and shall be able to specify the nearest pick-up and/drop-off point to any of FEKL's 337 LPG Cylinder Exchange Stations.
