What does Hootfolio do?

With our mission to “Make scientific decision-making available for everyone,” we, hootfolio, commenced our commercial operations in January 2025 through a business carve-out initiative leveraging the Causal AI technology developed by NEC Corporation. Through our AI-based solution, causal analysis, we uncover causal relationships hidden in data and enable organizations to validate the effectiveness of their own initiatives without requiring sophisticated knowledge of statistics or coding skills. We also provide consultations for scientific decision-making processes that support everything from planning to validation by leveraging this solution. Thankfully, our technology has already begun to be tested and adopted by leading manufacturers, advertising agencies, and other enterprises to guide their critical decisions in areas such as marketing, human capital management, and policy-making. Looking ahead, we aim not only for the broad expansion of our SaaS user base, but also for our Causal AI engine to be widely adopted by data/decision platforms and services across the world, helping transform the world into a place where anyone can make scientific decisions in real time, at their convenience.
