What does Kora do?

Kora is rebuilding the energy system from the ground up—starting with the home. Today’s grid is centralized, rigid, and reactive; Kora flips that model on its head. We’re creating a fully integrated home energy platform that connects solar, batteries, EVs, and major appliances into one intelligent network. Every home becomes self-optimizing, balancing its own generation and consumption in real time, and capable of selling excess power back to the grid or directly to neighbors. It’s autonomy, economics, and resilience—all built into the home. This isn’t a smarter breaker box. It’s a new operating system for distributed energy. By combining precision hardware, real-time software intelligence, and seamless connectivity, Kora turns the chaos of decentralized power into coordinated strength. Millions of connected homes form a virtual power plant that can respond to demand surges faster and cheaper than any centralized utility. Founded by Greg Connolly, the entrepreneur behind Trifecta, Kora brings Silicon Valley speed to one of the world’s slowest-moving sectors. Our vision is to make clean energy self-orchestrating—where every home thinks for itself, every neighborhood acts as a mini-grid, and together they create the most scalable, flexible, and resilient energy network ever built.
