What does METAFARMERS do?
METAFARMERS builds Physical AI systems that perform real farm tasks reliably in greenhouses and vertical farms, where labor shortages and rising operational complexity are accelerating the need for automation. The company’s mission is to turn field-proven robotics and AI into repeatable, scalable on-farm execution—reducing dependence on manual labor while improving consistency and operational throughput. Its core product, Omni Farmer, is a versatile agricultural robot platform designed to support multiple workflows on a single system. By combining perception, decision-making, and task execution, Omni Farmer can be configured for key farm operations such as harvesting, pollination, and precision inspection (e.g., monitoring pests, diseases, and physiological disorders). The platform approach enables faster adaptation across crops and farm layouts through task-specific modules and end-effectors. Beyond hardware, METAFARMERS offers flexible adoption via FRaaS (Farming Robot as a Service), bundling deployment and operations (with optional field support) to lower upfront barriers and accelerate time-to-value. Continuous learning from real operation data and farmer feedback drives iterative improvement of performance and robustness.
