What does MOOT do?

MOOT is a leading upcycling company based in Berlin, helping businesses transform unused resources into sustainable brand products at an industrial scale. Rather than recycling, we specialise in upcycling — elevating existing materials into premium merchandise, corporate giveaways and distinctive branded items. Our upcycling philosophy is simple: minimal additional resource use for maximum impact — for the planet and your brand. Under our MOOTstudio label, we craft 100% upcycled products from materials such as promotional textiles, corporate clothing, safety gear and packaging. This enables companies to cut waste, conserve resources and strengthen their brand image with truly authentic sustainability solutions. We already partner with medium-sized and large enterprises — including Deutsche Bahn, DHL, GORE-TEX and Ricola — bringing their unused materials back into circulation as upcycled corporate merchandise. Alongside our B2B services, MOOT also operates as a D2C brand, creating unique upcycled accessories and apparel from post-consumer textiles — turning discarded leather jackets into bags, wool blankets into coats, and even bedsheets into T-shirts.
