What does SocialStory do?

Since its inception in 2008, YourStory.com has strived to give entrepreneurs a voice. We have come to understand the startup space across all sectors and industries. Through our involvement in this ecosystem, we have witnessed a notable trend emerging in startups that focus as much on the success of their business as they do on the impact that it has on society. Recognizing the potential and diversity of this growing community of social entrepreneurs across the world, we decided they deserve a platform of their own, and launched SocialStory. At SocialStory, we believe in the immense potential of the social enterprise space for impact and development, and the growing importance that it plays in the global economy. We also believe that despite the potential it holds, social enterprise still does not receive the attention it deserves. By combining company profiles with investor and expert opinions, as well as relevant news in the social space, we intend to explore the entire social spectrum, understand the challenges and nuances, the potentials and opportunities, and communicate them to the world
