What does Teknos Industrial Coatings (SWE) do?
Teknos has an impressive track record in the surface treatment, protection and decoration of metal and steel components and structures on which its leading position in these sectors is based. Alongside traditional solvent-based products, Teknos has developed alternative water-borne paints and very high solid coatings for all kinds of metal surfaces, and the adoption of the EU's VOC directive has accelerated the adoption of this technology in our markets. Successful coating protection is based on good specification, controlled application processes and the selection of the most appropriate coating system; and to help our Customers make the best selection, our paint systems conform to the international standard EN ISO 12944. Teknos coating systems offer optimum protection for the most sophisticated objects: including process equipment used in the chemical industry, paper machinery, bridge and steel structures and the next generation nuclear generating plants. Our coating systems not only protect and extend service life, but also enliven and enhance appearance and aesthetics; whilst our TEKNOMIX tinting systems offer almost unlimited colour choice in even the most sophisticated high performance products. Teknos was established in 1948 and is one of Finland´s largest family-owned businesses
