It is our sole purpose for being... we want to help you grow in your garden, have success and develop the confidence to try something new. We back this by supplying quality products! We proudly started with just our packet see range over 135 years ago and our Australian and New Zealand based teams now manufactures and distributes an extensive range of garden products and offer a range of gardening services. These include fertilisers, plant protection products, garden accessories, lawn seeds and potting mixes. A little bit of history from Yates Yates was founded by Arthur Yates, an Englishman who migrated to New Zealand in 1879. The seed business that Arthur opened in Auckland in 1883 was the beginning of what was to become one of the most recognised names in Australian and New Zealand gardening. In 1886 Arthur visited Sydney, where he saw an opportunity to establish a similar enterprise in Sussex St, Sydney. The Yates Garden Guide, is a great gardening book that is still published more than 110+ years later with over 7 million copies in circulation. We're a family at Yates and committed to helping you grow the best garden possible. Talk to us today as we'd love to have a chat about your garden, your pots or balcony garden and see how we can help.
