What does z.systems do?

Z is Africa’s first B2B2C tech franchise for traditional retailers. Like 7-Eleven, but without the CAPEX, we are transforming independent grocery stores into a digitally connected, owner-operated retail network. On one end, we connect brands directly to retailers through the Z marketplace, enabling product availability, pricing control, and in-store visibility—solving the high cost and complexity of traditional distribution. On the other end, we drive consumers to Z retailers through dynamic promotions, gamified loyalty programs, and buy-now-pay-later features—recreating the Modern Trade experience in informal retail. At the heart of our model is a loyalty engine that connects brands, retailers, and consumers in one seamless ecosystem—turning transactional relationships into long-term brand affinity. With 20K+ retailers onboarded, 900K+ orders delivered, and 95% positive ratings, Z is building the future operating model for traditional retail across Africa and beyond.
